For the enthusiasm of the students in sports, Takshashila polytechnic, Amravati has arranged sports event for Inter Engineering Diploma Student Sports Association (IEDSSA) Hl Zone organized by Maharashtra state board of Technical Education (MSBTE). The sports activities like Weight Lifting & Wrestling was held in Indoor stadium. All the IEDSSA 2K22 arrangement was done by Prof. A. D. Kshirsagar who was the In-charge of IEDSSA Event.
Students from various zones were cagily participated in all events the event. Total 09 Participants of Wrestling and 16 Participants of Weight lifting were participated in these events. The event was conducted on 19th Nov 2022. All the students and faculties were present to encourage the student who has participated in these events. 12 Winners from different weight category Won First prize in Wrestlingin which Mr. Navneet Wakode First Year student of EE was the winner under 65 weight category. And 11 Winners from different weight category Won First prize in Weight lifting. Various students of Institute like Government Polytechnic Yavatmal, A.S. P. Polytechnic, Wardha, Gode Polytechnic Amravati, Government Polytechnic, Washim had participated and prove themselves as winner & Runner-up in both event. Prof. S. S. Shekapure Principal of Takshashila Polytechnic inaugurated the Event. Mr. Manoj Tayade, Mr. Rahul Bagde & Mr. Rathod Sir from Hanuman Vyam Prasarak Mandal appointed as Judges gives their vital time in the event for finalizing the Winners & Runner-Up.
